About the Storyteller
Your host for story time is a friendly rat named Horace. But he’s not just any rat! He’s always wearing his big glasses and loves the library. Curious, well read, and brimming with imagination, he loves telling stories to children and introducing them to extraordinary worlds. With hundreds of tales, legends, and adventures up his sleeve, he proudly bears his nickname: the rat storyteller. Come listen to his storytelling talent and let yourself be swept away to wonderful places!
Featured Stories
Every story time session features a different story (in French) told by Horace the rat storyteller.
Horace attempts to tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood, only to discover—to his horror—that some pages are missing from his book! Fortunately, Grandma comes to his rescue and decides to tell her own rendition of the story, one full of surprises and twists.
Alice has disappeared. She can’t be found anywhere in her story: she’s not in Wonderland, nor behind the looking glass, nor even in the pages of the book where she’s supposed to be. The characters in her story, panicked, realize that she’s escaped… or that she’s gotten lost somewhere
Horace, like any self-respecting rat, doesn’t like cats. So, he decides to rewrite the story to suit his tastes, and that’s how Puss in Boots becomes Rat in Boots.
