Sales Support Supervisor

Job description:

The primary objective of this position is to perform necessary duties to increase sales including merchandise flow, merchandising standards, inventory and stocking procedures in all departments of the branch. Provide support on the sales floor. Demonstrate a high level of commitment to customers and increase sales while effectively assisting customers. As needed, provide guidance and training to associates on company initiatives, sales programs and products. This position may assume the responsibilities of a key holder as required (opening and closing the branch) and work on-call manager shifts.

Tasks and responsabilities:

  • Maintain company merchandising standards, including current pricing, signage, planograms, promotional planners, advertising facilities and displays;
  • Facilitate and/or participate in all cycle count processes as required by policies and procedures;
  • Be responsible for the input and integrity of appropriate documents. Be responsible for forwarding documents for approval to the appropriate manager and/or corporate office;
  • Maintain an effective filing system for all relevant documents in accordance with company standards;
  • Prepare printing of signage as needed using appropriate procedures and resources;
  • Assists in maintaining a clean damaged goods area and ensures that items requiring shrink wrapping are processed in a timely manner;
  • Collaborate with management to prepare inventory counts, participate in the inventory count process, and track discrepancies;
  • As needed, coordinate recycling programs including toner, ink, batteries and electronic items;
  • Provide guidance and training to associates as needed.
